In an ongoing partnership with The American Red Cross, The Center for Academic Success held its November blood drive in the administrative building and received 26 donations from students, staff, and community members. The donations will be used to save up to 78 lives. Annual blood drives are just one of the many ways CAS encourages and facilitates student community service and involvement. In fact, our seniors are required to perform 25 hours of service to local nonprofits in order to earn their diploma. Citizenship is one of our key values at CAS, and we are proud to support this worthy cause. If you’ve never given blood before or want to learn more about how you can be involved in your local area’s red cross, visit their website http://www.redcross.org/az/tucson.
