In addition to great high school electives like Engineering, Film Studies, Journalism, and Internet Technologies, CAS offers qualifying juniors and seniors a chance to take courses with Cochise County Community College for reverse and dual credit.

One course — CPD 150 — is offered right on CAS’s campus taught by Mr. Julian Barkley.  Thanks to a partnership between the two schools, students pay a reduced fee and are eligible for tuition reimbursement by maintaining an A or B average in the course.  Recently, several students received their Cochise College student identification cards and took a brief tour of the campus including the library, several academic buildings, instructors’ office locations, the college fitness center and the student union.

The students were accompanied by Mr. Barkley, Ms. McKay, and Mrs. Heather Skattebo, Brandy’s mother. Thanks to Cochise for partnering with CAS to offer the best in quality education for our Cochise County students.
