Principal: Mr. Stephen Huff, has been with the Center for Academic Success for over 19 years. He spent the first nine at the Douglas campus before relocating to run the Sierra Vista Campus. His ardor for a successful school is the life force for CAS, as he supports the daily needs of the students and staff to develop the skills and traits needed to be a successful school. With continued support, he has helped elevate the school, and each student to the next level of excellence. He is an avid sports follower with his favorite teams being, the Arizona Wildcats, Cardinals, and Diamondbacks, the Phoenix Suns, as well as the Denver Broncos. Vice Principal: Mr. Scott Loucks, has been at the Center for Academic Success for over eight years. He helps provide a safe and secure environment for children to learn in every day. He believes every child deserves a quality education. Mr. Loucks spends time hunting pheasant, and small game. He officiates high school sports such as football and basketball, as well as enjoys spending time with his family, including yard-work for his parents.
Registrar/Student Advisor: Mrs. Ashley Ridenhour, has been at the Center for Academic success for over five year, and strives every day to help students achieve their goals. She believes that if you start with a passion to teach, there is no limit to how far you can take your students to meet their goals. She enjoys being outdoors, hiking and fishing. A native of the Pittsburgh area she engages in rooting on her favorite teams, the Pirate, Steelers and Penguins.
Administrative Assistant: Mrs. Wendy Koop, has been keeping the Center for Academic Success running like a well oiled machine for over four years in the front office. She greats everyone with a smile everyday, and keeps everyone in a positive mood. Mrs. Koop lives to play racquetball, and spend a lot of quality time with her family. Her favorite quote: “Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning how to dance in the rain.”
Elementary and Middle School
Assistant Principal: Mrs. Traci Tomlinson, has been with the Center for Academic Success for over seven years working with the Middle and Elementary School. She embodies her belief that it is her job as an educator to put the children first, take them as far as she can go, and help young people become educated well rounded good citizens. Her favorite quote: Gene Kranz: “…this is going to be our finest hour.”
