CAS opened in 1995 and is the largest running charter school in Southern Arizona. Offering 100% highly-qualified caring teaching staff, individualized instruction, and small classroom sizes, we make sure all of our students get the quality education they deserve.

We make it easy on parents by becoming partners in their child’s learning. Parents can expect regular updates on student progress and free required school supplies for each of our students. Additionally, CAS provides free hot breakfast and lunch programs, and  free “CAS CARE” programs that will have structured activities in addition to help with homework and tutoring. The programs allow us to offer parents a safe and secure environment for their children as well as an enriching and enjoyable experience for the students. This program will be available from 7:00 a.m. until the start of the school day and from the end of school until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Is CAS a private school?

No, CAS is a public charter school offering a tuition free option for Arizona students. We have no religious affiliation, and emphasize ongoing character development and respect.

Do CAS students take standardized tests?

You bet! Our students participate in AIMS state testing and Stanford tests as a way to measure our progress and theirs. We’ve very proud of our consistently strong AIMS scores. In fact, we tend to out-score other local schools.

Does CAS offer extra-curricular activities?

Of course! Extra-curicular activities help students grow and develop. CAS offers a variety of clubs to excite our students including: robotics, gardening, tech club, and art.

Is tutoring available if my student needs help?

Absolutely! We have after-school tutoring offered daily to help our students succeed. Teachers or parents can request a student attend tutoring and many of our students take advantage of this opportunity.

What if I need to drop off my kid before school or pick him up late?

No problem. We offer FREE care for our students starting at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 5:30 p.m. These enrichment programs give our students a safe, supervised environment before and after school at no cost or inconvenience to our parents.

Do you offer transportation? 

Unfortunately, we do not have a bus system at this time. However, our free before and after care offer more flexibility so parents can get to and from work on time.
