NOTICE OF INTENT TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR THE 2019-20 21^ST CENTURY COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTERS (CCLC) GRANT

In accordance with the application instructions from the Arizona Department of Education, the Center for Academic Success, Inc. submits a public notice to the community of Cochise County its intent to apply for the 2019-20 21^st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Grant for public schools to be served in the aforementioned areas.

The purpose of the 21^st CCLC Program, as described in federal statute, is to provide opportunities for communities to establish or expand activities that focus on:

1. Improving academic achievement of students
2. Enrichment activities and services that reinforce and complement the academic program, and
3. Active and meaningful opportunities for adult family members of students to engage in their children’s education.

The deadline for the application is May 6, 2019.
